Mr. Brandon Nygren

I grew up in Ashland, Nebraska where I attended Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools K-12. I was involved in many extracurricular activities and organizations. Then, I attended Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education K-8 with endorsements in Early Childhood B-3 and Coaching. As a teacher, I taught 5th grade for four years and 2nd grade for two years while coaching high school boys basketball. In 2020, I earned my Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, playing, attending, and watching many different sports. I am a huge Nebraska Husker fan! 

This is my third year as Principal at Platte Center Elementary. I feel fortunate to be a part of Lakeview Community Schools! I’m looking forward to working with the staff, students, and families here at school. I strive to build meaningful relationships, be a servant leader, and help others be their best by remembering the past, living in the present, and preparing for the future.

I am always available to talk to parents and community members about things happening at Platte Center Elementary.
